My Dancing Series.

Dancing has inspired me to impress friends and for a certain special someone. Probably by next week, i'll be starting a series of my dance choreos. Just doing it for the heck of it. These series will consist of me posting a new vid of myself dancing to a certain song every week. I'll be asking my friends for suggestions on the type of songs and i'll try my best to impress. JamieBoy's is one of my dancing idols I look out for, he has amazingly impressed me by dancing/singing. His cover on Chris Brown's "Dont Judge Me" ^ made me speechless.

My Life Time Goals

"Aldrich you suck at dancing, just stop."
When I hear that, I feel motivated; due to the fact that haters is what makes you a better person or maybe its the fact that they wish they could be in your position.

My goal since middle school is to perform on the show; America's Best Dance Crew. But in order to follow up that dream, school has to come first. Goals develop and change over time, thats why I live life to the fullest, hoping for the best and working to be the best.

My designated major is Nursing, and I plan on transfering to San Diego State. This has been my goal since high school. I love to dance but I would love to have a great future as well, this is the point where school has to come first, and knowing it's all gonna be worth it at the end, i'm going to take that chance. 

My theory is to never give up striving for the goal you wish to succeed in, failure is not an option. What has motivated to complete these goals? FRIENDS & FAMILY. If you have no motivation, than there must be no reason to start and complete your goal.

I grew up barely having my family support, so making them proud is what i'm striving for at the moment.Just the feeling you get when you make your parents proud, from my opinion is the best moment you'll ever have.

While on the pathway for any certain type of goal, you will have to make sacrifices. For example, I had to make sacrifices by not spending time or going to party with friends just for I to succesful in high school, I honestly think thats a decent trade, and I knew I lost many oppurtunities to make memories with them.

But thats all part of life, you'll find your true friends by figuring who stays by your side all the way.



Bayan Learning Community!

The Bayan Learning Community has been a great pathway to my learning success, being linked; PD - 100 and ENGL - 114, im enjoying my experience in those classes. New people, new friends, a start of a new life.

Especially when this is my first year in college, these courses are helping me improve in being a better student and becoming more responsible. I was luckily introduced and registered in this class by Professor Abuan, if I were not to be enrolled in this class, my learning experience would of been a difficult time.

College is a good source for stress, but with the accompany and help of this community, I can overcome this challenge. This is my first time being in a learning community, and the experiences i'm having here is great. My intended audience would be my Bayan Scholar's or anyone who is interested in joining this learning community.

 I do not regret joining this community because I wouldnt of met all these great people, outstanding professors, and meeting individuals who are just like me. This is a community in where I would recommend new students or returning students.

In order to be succesful in this courses is, you cant procastinate nor be lazy. Doing all work on time will set you on a succesful future. So far, I have found no problems in these courses, maybe alot of work but its all beneficial.

I love this community, maybe cause it feels like we're all family or maybe the fact that i'm not alone.

Meeting New People

Meeting new people can be a bitch, just the thought of judgement, ethnicity, and appearance are the major factors of first impression.

First day of school was like a big step towards adulthood, expecting nothing given to you, knowing you have to earn it. I realized that college is an easier place to make friends, the learning environment, and especially with this Bayan Learning Community, you will not be a stranger. My intended audience is towards Bayan Scholars(Peers) or anyone who caught interest on my topic.

 My reactions and feelings while meeting new people is hardly describable in words; meaning actions speaks louder than words. Since im an Introvert; I try my best to make more friends but the other side, i'm really shy and wouldnt know how to start off a good conversation; and this could relate to many people, im not alone. These two courses has really helped break out my shell, and made me interact with my peers.

 I honestly thought I wouldnt make as much friends on my first semester; but I proved my self wrong. The thought of meeting new people can affect individuals, making them confident or nervous when the time comes. I was nervous, due to the fact that whatever I say or do; they will judge.

Im not assuming everyone judges, I just believe that first impression is always the key factor in establishing a new friendship.

Hey there! Going to introduce myself the simple way. I go by the name Aldrich. Currently 18 years olds. 75% Filipino & 25% Black. Usually assumed as Filipino. I LOVE to dance and eat/cook ASIAN RICE. Attended and Graduated from Mar Vista High. Played Volleyball for 4 Years & Basketball for 2 Years. Born and raised in California, Sunny Daygo! Cant eat anything without RICE, unless its ridiculously amazingly delicious, swag. While growing up, I was mostly around females, since most of my couusins are girls, lame. But its very beneficial, I get to find out what they like, their interests, and feelings towards us stereotyped felluhs. I've have always taken advice from them, and it always seems to work. GirlTips101. I enjoy making new friends, especially when im a freshmeat again. I love to laugh, its shows my CHINKY side, asians represent! I enjoy listening to rap, hip hop, and whatever that has a nice flow, for instance D-PRYDE. #TeamDpryde.
